In a previous post, LinkedIn or some other place I don’t know anymore: I spoke about the need for “followers”. That all artists, small and large, have a following. All things in a way are Art. Tesla in effect had a few hundred thousand people put down a cash deposit for the cars. This showed interest, and then the company made the cars. Quite literally that simple.

100,000 people putting down $10,000 is 1 Billion Dollars. Crazy, but you have that, and the rest supplied by investors, all of a sudden you have a car company.

Now all things follow this pattern. Even Apple has “Followers” and people that would absolutely not be caught dead holding an iPhone for philosophical reasons. The upward limit is of course the number of human beings. Multiplied by the percentage that buy the product. These are the “followers” of Apple as an Artistic Entity.

I have a tiny, absolutely tiny small following. Some of this has to do with my own energy, and time I dedicated to my craft. In a separate post I explained the lack of work and production from me between the years of 2015 to now is perfectly alright, as this gave me time to experience life without the need for work. Unencombered creative time is not a necessity in life. But for me it was a good reprieve from a difficult life, where I could rest and enjoy existence, and importantly learn.

Now the small number of followers I have is absolutely okay in terms of value. Now money generated from this tiny following is a different thing. All of this is of course relative, but nevertheless I do have a following. Just small.

The value generated by this following is in effect tiny. Since I live a very simple life with little expenses other than the occasional 25 day bender in Mykonos, I’m okay with the size of my following.

The larger the following, each individual in the group is less “seen”, and relationships between the Artist and Devotee is small. However, as we decrease the denominator, we see the relationship between the small following and the Artist grows. Imagine the first disciples. They loved Jesus more than the current random follower of Christianity that goes to Church based solely on Convenience.

If you don’t show up to dinner with Jesus when there are only 10 followers, you will be Seen. Or Unseen.

Now if you don’t go to Church on a random Sunday, you can probably get away with it.

So a small following also has value. The Artists words are first seen by the initial following. It might grow later, but they definitely hit harder. One example is interaction. The following currently is tiny enough that I personally can respond, Like, and think about comments from my meagre following of 38 people on Youtube and 10 people on Substack. So our relationship is deeper and more meaningful.

And I continue.

So then with that out of the way, what do I have to share with you today?

I believe I’ve made another breakthrough in the understanding of the Human Mind.

Things I’ve already discovered:

The mind is the great separator and Pattern Creator. I discovered this in the heat of the greek summer when my mind, filled with Alchohol and dehydration, began to melt, and I mixed concepts.

The optimal operating temperature of the mind. It is an organ (albeit and incredible one), and it has an optimal operating temperature. It needs food, water, and a good temperature to function optimally. I discovered this by simply watching the mind, in the heat of mexico, and air conditioned Canada.

I don’t think I’ve spoken about this before. But the Search Function. Native American tribes, and older Ship Captains spoke of this ability. Some people being able to navigate the ocean without devices. Or Native Americans that by themselves took out entire teams of European Settlers. The Search Function I relate to the way elephants find water. A few organisms (us included) have this search function. Modern ZeitGeist mistakenly calls this Manifesting. Manifesting from a spiritual term is simply the Conceptual Being of Ontology. You become what you wish to occur in the now, and then it happens Ontologically. Rich people tend to be hardworking. Become frugal and Hardworking, in the now, becoming the Properties of what you wish to be, and you will be. The Search Function is when you “visualize” or put into the minds eye what you wish to happen or “Find”. This is similar to anyone that’s ridden a motorbike or learned how to snowboard. You look with your eyes, and then your body or bike naturally follows. This is how the Search Function works. You put into your mind the object of desire or “State of Desire”, and then you iteratively seek and find it through a positive learning path finding function that your mind already has.

Learning is Ontological Separation (black is not white, a tiger is not a Lion), the body-feeling that was created when you first encountered the word and subsequent encounters with the concept, and finally the relational “mathematical space” of the concepts, which is step 5 below.

The new discovery which I will outline below.

This is going to be a doozy. In some sense this might be “the big one”. As Computer Engineers, soon to be Cogntive Engineers, we … okay this post is really really long.
