an Even further discussion on Virtue

and differentiation
A reflection on differentiating through hard work and cultivated virtues rather than assumptions of innate superiority or inferiority.

You will do far better in life by first assuming that you are like everybody else,

and that you must differentiate yourself through hard work,

and the things that are of Value are Virtues that you can cultivate (strength, courage, honesty, patience, goodness, clarity of heart, success, humility, gentleness),

rather than assuming there is some innate ‘You’ that is better than everybody else,

or ‘worse’

that deserves either a balanced retribution (Victim-hood)

or Adoration (outsized un warranted Ego).

Rather to do your best, be simple, cultivate good qualities, and then receive what naturally is deserved and derived from such Qualities.
