Duplicitous Moral Standards
One time i applied to a job in New York
And he was like if you nail the coding interview we’ll fly you out
So i nailed it
Then he calls me and says
So look man. I know we said we’d fly you out but you’re linked in is really weird
And i said how so?
Well you have like thousands of posts
You post multiple times a day
And nobody likes your posts
It’s weird
I was really hurt. For like a millisecond
Then i thought okay who cares? Am i being faulted for not being famous? That’s most men
So i answered oh! I mostly write for seo purposes.
Then he said okay but the flight and hotel are expensive. We’re gonna need a reference first.
And i was thinking but dude! The deal was i nail the interview i get a flight! Whats up! But i stayed quiet
I breathed
I took a cold dip in the ocean that morning in the middle of December
I was prepared
I said okay man no problem
You can call my Good friend Bill
So he did
And i got a free vacation to New York and ended up making like 70k in a month
The moral of the story my friends is your own duplicity
You hold the common man, the worker, the proletariat, the tax payer, the consumer to ridiculous moral standards.
Thou shall not steal.
They steal all the time.
Thou shall not lie.
They lie every advertisement, every job posting, every negotiation.
This is why you are poor and they are rich. They understand that to be successful you must be ruthless.
I want to be nice. I don’t want to trash what you thought the world was. But why not look at how the world is? Why not open our eyes and see the truth?
We must be strong
We must be cunning
We must be kind yes. But i will never let anyone walk over me.
There are certain things a man can never, and should never compromise.
Death is Honorable
Poverty is Honorable
In order to never, never, be dishonoured.
