Empires with Umpires

and Subtle Games
The postwar world order moved conflict to the peripheries, where the game theory of taking one bite can quickly turn political pressure into total defeat.

It is very clear to anyone with eyes and time on his hands,

that today’s world is …

Come on you can answer it you probably know.

It is a World Order set in place after World War 2 where the winners created the UN Security Council

They essentially never fought each other directly,

But as owners of the World Order, they fought over the peripheries.

Any little tiff that happens, is almost always in this context.

What’s fascinating is that the Game Theory of War turns out that either you take a bit

and find a middle, politically resolve the issue,

or after one bite, you eat the Whole thing.

Many times, even allowing a Bite, is a point of no return, where they could take everything quite quickly.

I mean why not right? The first intention might be a political win. But total defeat is always a possibility.
