I believe that some things being guaranteed near the point of completion

Imagine someone is building a bridge

And they are so dedicated

At around 50% finished

You could say “this bridge is as good as done”

And you could take bets

Like watching a sporting match

Where the momentum shifts

And we know the outcome…

But occasionally

Something comes out of nowhere

An event nobody could predict…
