Lost in Translation

Time-wise Context Destruction
Ancient texts can lose context across time, but a modern reading of Psalm 55 finds shared strength in God, the universe, and other people.

I take the fact that many of our most important texts (documents) are extremely old.

Some of which can be older than 1000 years!

For example Cicero the Great Roman Orator, Julius Caesar the Roman Emperor, Plato… etc.

Some of these texts are so old, they might deal with concepts we never speak about in our day to day lives. Maybe ever!

Firstly that’s pretty cool. But also, some stuff might get lost in Translation, or Lost in Time-torn Context (us confusing the meaning of Soul, with Spirit, with Emotion, with God), and Time Removed History - like everything being attributed to Asop!

Here is an interesting Quote from the Bible, that I will attempt to explain using modern language.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22)

My interpretation below:

If i am a part of the universe materially

Or i am one spiritually

Then is not the load i carry

Also carried by the universe?

Then i am not alone in my quest

And in my struggle

I have God on my side

Who will help carry the load with me

As well as others in this planet

Who will help in cooperation
