On Business

Early businesses aren't businesses, they are people.
Later stage businesses aren't businesses if done right, they are machines.
------
Reason being many automations aren't in place. Each person is a crucial piece of the puzzle. Mechanisms for automation are not in place. And people cannot be easily replaced / swapped out.
Some of this has to do with financial reasons, others have to do with the business is too young to have those systems in place...
Therefore a critical piece is to stay with the business as if you would with a child. The early stages require you / your people at every stage showing up quite literally non stop.
Why?
The business is you.
There is no business without you.
This level of dedication to a non-existent yet to be formed entity is beyond understanding.
And this is why most people fail without the proper guidance.
This is why momentum is so absolutely critical at the early stages.
