The Public Zeitgeist gets it all wrong

Man does not desire Political Freedom

Man desires Personal Freedom over his own Affairs

You think a guy living in one of his 5 mini-palaces in Dubai cares about Public Policy in the UAE?

No. He cares about Public Policy in so far as it effects his personal life, property, and family.

Personal Freedom is directly correlated to Financial Freedom.

Government in that regard should be kept small, and based in a cultural history rather than the whim of a few super vocal annoying media addicted morons that care little for their own life, and wish to bring their own views upon others.

Im all for a King rooted in Culture and History of the region they rule over.

Democracy soon washes away the culture of the locale, and removes their linguistic and historical way of life, for that of a mono-ethnic singular-culture based on the views of the vocal minority.

Again, put simply, Man wants Personal Freedom first and foremost, and Political Freedom in so far as to keep the Public from impinging upon his Personal Affairs (family and property).
