On Thinking

Problems and thoughts never end, but repeatedly rehearsing the same problem is worrying—not productive thinking—and the mind also needs rest.

The problem with problems

My dear reader

Is that they never end

One thought leads to the next thought

And thought in general works on the current problem

Once solved

It begins to chew on the next one

So don’t give too much thought to the current one

As it is simply a drop in the river of thoughts

Followed by another

And preceded by another

So then what makes this one SO important? In the infinity of thoughts and problems?

But what is the problem with thinking precisely?

Because normally you’re not thinking good positive conducive thoughts that even lead anywhere

Hashing

And rehashing

And rethinking

Rehearsing

The same problem is not thinking or even productive

It’s called worrying!

And worrying produces all sorts of bad emotions and hormones in the body that do real damage

Furthermore, you’re not rehearsing nice thoughts like: “im loved” “i love my life” “im so lucky to have my family and health”

Even more far

Overusing any organ in the body isn’t good

What doctor would say run 12 hours a day

Eat 16 hours a day

And watch movies for 12?

Obviously all of this has consequences.

And so does thinking!

So chill out man. Go for a walk. Play a sport. And stop thinking!
