!Ontological Man!
A verse through the Universe
A line that goes forever
And on that line a point
That lasts for just a decible
A sound that plays forever
and a man who thought he was… more?
Imagine a Tiger sits in front of you,
that hasn’t eaten a while,
that’s a problem. Some might say a BIG problem.
What’s fascinating is there’s another dimension to the problem.
How long the tiger sits there.
An hour? A minute? A year? A second?
The time component is really important. So is its agility but we only assume…
Herin lies the logic behind: “I am a speck in the Universe, so therefore, my problems aren’t that big of a deal”
Reframing a problem in a sea of eternity should help you understand that they’re not that BIG. But is that enough to quell our worries? Dull the pain?
A better argument around our problems, dulling their zest, is that they simply don’t last that long. Many of them are generated concepts (technically everything is a generation), not static. Meaning they do die.
Even your debt. Sure in a way it grows. Actually time might make that one worse…
But it sure won’t last forever! Somebody has to keep it up right? It has to live somewhere. Be it in a database, all it takes is an enterprising individual to pull the plug. Not that I’m advocating for such a maneuver.
But pointing out it’s generated second by second. Your debt, your problems, are actually a generation. Even a tumour has to be fed. Otherwise it… disappears.
Appear-Dis-appear. Generate. Create. Destroy? Or simply cease to create. Cease to be?
But can anything Be? How can you be constant? It is more - becoming. Every second, every hour…
Which renders our problems, like everything else, an act of becoming. Not-everlasting. Since they also abide by the laws of Physics. If everything is becoming. In every moment, to the next. To exist is to constantly become in the next moment.
Tell that to your debtor. That the energy it takes to constantly maintain your debt is more than the debt! So let it go, allow me to go free…
Now if our emotions keep our attachments…
And our hatred of someone is but a memory that is relived,
there then lies the logic of: “It’s heavy, hate.” “and Let it Go”
The energy consumption it takes to maintain and generate hate toward someone. Is not worth it! Let it go.
Now if it was free to hate. And it was a constant thing. That simply existed. Then have at it! Hate everything and everyone. But that’s not the case. It has to live somewhere.
But the world of concepts. The idea of hate itself, exists. In the conceptual space, anything can exist, everlasting. Because it doesn’t exist in reality, its free!
So our debt then is not free?
Nope. Keeping debt, is in itself a debt! That must be paid.
You think those Collections workers (debt collectors), eat for Free? Somebody’s gotta pay them…
And they know this…
Which is precisely why debt collectors will negotiate. Because they know… month by month… your debt is costing them money! Its gotta live somewhere.
Like inventory of an item that just. wont. sell.
