Purpose and Direction

I've written a lot this year. Quite possibly 1-3 books worth of writing.

I did this because I genuinely like writing.

And some Creatives I think have overwhelming amounts of ideas.

So I just write them down.

Pretty much all of em.

My uncle has a joke that I go to bed, have a dream, and in the morning I start to implement it.

I once was on a walk on the beach and I came up with this new laundromat idea.

So I went to a cafe and coded up a solution in 7 hours.

This girl sat next to me and she was like: "what are you doing?"

And I responded, I'm building a new laundromat.

I don't really think people do things like that. Ever.

But what's super funny is people also don't know what they really want.

Can you imagine just aimlessly walking around not knowing what you want?

Like some pollen on a wave? Just moving from one space to another?

I was traveling once and this German girl and Italian dude asked me: “what do you want?”

Expecting a normie answer like: “aha! I don’t know. maybe a better job! aha.”

no.

I looked them dead in the eye and i said: “I want a private jet.”

But not just want man.

I wake up every day implementing the plan. The plan i wrote out 8 years ago.

That’s the difference brother. Let me tell ya. Those two did not like my answer. I still went out that night. But man.

Dubrovnik has changed! Its not as fun anymore.

So I went home and slept brother.
