Most people think if they work hard long enough. Things will naturally work out.

This actually isnt the case at all.

Over a long enough horizon; all we can hope for is a summation of learning and trials. Over time, with enough learning and chances absolutely things work out.

The learning in this case follows the same growth curve as… everything else.

A bacterial culture is used in studies like this as it is the perfect way to exemplify growth and growth patters.

For example if you feed the culture; and it grows from 10 to 1 million cells. Then forget to feed it for a while lets say because your out partying in Greece for the summer. Come home. And start feeding it again.

Well you just started back at 3 or so cells. Again you try and again you stop at 5 million or so cells.

Now the human eye only begins to detect changes or noticeable post-scale proof of his efforts after 20million or so cells.

So you constantly try, for a while, take a break, go have a coffee and party in Australia this time.

And then you complain that the bacterial swarm in your living room never got anywhere.

Shocker. You didnt actually Sum up the growth to allow it to reach Visual stabilization.

No sir. This means the beginning stages of any endeavor are belief alone.

That if i cock this bow tightly enough, and aim well enough, the laws of math and Universe will carry this arrow to its mark.

Ultimately we must believe.

But we must continue, in a Summative direction, otherwise we never get past Belief to Realization.
