Selling your iPhone to God

Once a man sells his soul to the Devil, it goes like this:

“I give you my soul, and in return I get Fame of this world.”

The Devil is wily, and understands a good trade when he sees one.

The idea is that the object of desire is meaningless in the eternal, but valuable in the present.

You are essentially trading infinity in the future, for value now.

To the Devil, this is a great trade.

For you it usually isn't.

So then, as we are concerned with mathematical analyses of Ontological Concepts.

The opposite of selling your soul to the Devil now, is gaining infinite value in the Future,

by giving up something material in the now - destructive value or things in which the hands of time can destroy.

All things that can be given in this life are subject to the forces of entropy.

Power, wealth, fame, etc.

All things that last a lifetime are not subject to destructive forces.

Therefore, the only thing that can be sold to God is the material in the now,

for eternal in the Future.

Which is the very description of Heaven by Jesus.
