Shaking Hands with Kings

When I was younger, maybe around 20, I would read Benjamin Franklin’s almanack.

And other stories about him.

One of the lines was interesting. He detailed his habits, and showed that working hard, being frugal, eventually pays off. That hard workers, if diligent enough, will eventually shake hands with a King.

Following Elon Musk’s life, its fascinating to see how many Kings he’s actually met. I mean the guy got invited by Netanyahu to his Congress Address. World Cup finals. Olympics. Really this guy is in every single Royalty Box that exists.

Walking through my hometown of Mahabad, by all accounts in the middle of nowhere. There was a store changing dollars to local Toman. In the front window was a 24k Pure Gold 100$ United States of America Bill. The picture was Benjamin Franklin.

He literally turned to Gold.
