I mean I’m not making a crazy amount. I’m just saying, if rent is like 35k POST TAX, and food is like 12k POST TAX, 75k IS puny no?

How hard is it REALLY to make that on your own and not have to bow down to a boss and ask him if you can go home early on Tuesday?
Well 75,000 / ($10*12) subscriptions online for some service means we need 625 subscribers doing some service for them every month.
The average user aquisition cost is roughly in eCommerce is anywhere between $150-750. Let’s go crazy and say $400 each user. So that’s 400* 7500 = 250k dollars. Plus development of the product etc. roughly another 500k, means we need 750k just to earn a normal salary.

well okay. so a digital, global, web brand is gonna cost you 750k just to earn your salary. Not to mention a 2-3 years of learning and development time.

What i’m saying is, if it isn’t for a PROBABILITY of far higher returns, this is a path that NOBODY in their right mind should take.

So the only intelligent path is to either keep a job, or to invest in something more hyper local like a coffee shop. The issue with that logic is EVERYBODY can do that, so now you have an equivalent per capita competition.
