The Mind and Suicide and Jesus

We must protect our Minds and Spirit first and foremost. They is the most fragile.

Do not Mind me as I say what I am about to say,

Pay no Mind nor Attention to my Words as they are written on this Page,

And definitely, please sir, Act as if I said nothing at all…

When a man commits an unthinkable Act, is he not sick or diseased?

For if everyone thought the same as him, there would be no one around!?

And if it is a highly competitive world, and if your competition does the unthinkable,

is there not one less Man to compete with?

So your suicide actually benefits Him who is in competition with you?

And are there not people who depend on you,

who will be harmed by your Action?

It is as Socrates said: “Look out onto the field, and see the grazing Cattle. If one Commits suicide, he will be working against his Master, the Rancher?”

And if our master is God, and we his Sheep, and we do the Unthinkable, he will weep harder than any of us ever could, and remember longer, for he knows what could have been, and what would have Become of you?

So the Mind that commits such an atrocity, is diseased and sick, and in such pain, in such disharmony, that it finds a way ‘out’ which it precisely is.

For if a Man was in Ecstasy, he would never say: “STOP THIS NOW.” He would most likely be angered at you, wanting to pull the plug, on the greatest joy he has ever felt. So a Man about to commit the Deed, is most likely far from ecstasy. One could even say pain?

What is interesting is that no action appears on its own in the timeline. There was a preceding action, and sequence of events. As we own our Lives, we own our Mortality.

It is a tradeoff we always make.

I told a friend today: “Dimitris, see what I am eating?”

“You can’t just eat that man. You have to get some nutrients for your body.”

“I have been eating Oats and Cinnamon and Water for the last week” - I said to him

“That’s not enough Man.”
”But who is it that you are protecting?”

“Your body.”
But isn’t this precisely the issue?

That we are always so much more concerned with our Body. When it is the strongest of the three?
The Spirit is Infinite, and non-material. And can move from Happiness, to Sadness, to Depression, in an *instant

While the body is the strongest of the three.

The mind can be torn apart by one phone call: “Your loved one has died”

But the body stays in-tact.

So who is it that we are protecting? Where does all our energy go?

If it was up to me… I would protect the Mind and the Spirit. Again and again. A single decision, and the Plug is Pulled.

But it takes a lot more than that to stop the heart from beating. On and on it goes.

It is as Jesus said: “If your eye is causing you to sin. Poke it out.”

We must trade the material for the Infinite.

The Body for the Mind.

Frugality will heal your heart and Mind far more than that extra steak dinner will ever do for your body.
