On the Human Spirit
To stand somewhere, anywhere, for hours on end, 12 hours, on foot, with no drink or food…
And someone, at some point, comes along and says: “why are you standing here?”
It’s funny that the human spirit effects us so much.
Depending on the answer, the man could be in agony, or overjoyed.
“I’m standing here waiting for my beloved. She is soon to arrive.”
or “I lost a bet to a very bad man and if i move, that Sniper on the rooftop has got my number. The bet is I have to stand here for 24 hours straight. No movement. So please sir. Please leave me be.”
How I come up with this stuff. I will never know.
